Triple for Zhi

There has been a three-way all-in over on table one with Lin Zhi emerging the victor. We missed the pre-flop action, but with all three players sitting in the hi-jack, cutoff and button it looked like a pre-flop all-in.

Zhi was the man to shove first with {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, Zhen Zongge had also moved all-in from the hi-jack with {a-Spades}{6-Spades} and the short-stacked Li Bin decided the chance to possibly bag a triple-up was too good to pass up on and he made the call with {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}.

Unfortunately for Zongge and Bin the flop fell {2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} to an excited shout of ‘Yessssssss!’ from Zhi who took the lead in the hand. The {10-Diamonds} hit the turn to keep Zhi in front and he busted both other players when the {j-Hearts} landed on the river, though stacks were counted down just to make sure.

Both Zhi’s opponents were pretty short meaning he stacked up to a little over 200,000 so still has a long way to go if he wants to lock up a seat on the final table.
