Post-break Stacks
There is a new sheriff in town and it is Weizhou Zha who is now most definitely chip leader as we had a chance to get a decent count of the stacks on the break. However Haoyu Hu is not all that far behind while former front runners Alex Lee and Bobbie Suri have dropped off, but are still very much in the running, though Lee is running better than Suri at present as the latter has significantly less than he began the day with.
Quan Zhou is climbing into contention and we witnessed him in a hand against Zhao Ting Ting that saw him chip up a little more. Ore-flop there was an under-the-gun raise to 7,500 with Zhou making the call from UTG+1 before Ting Ting popped it up to 25,000 to go.
While the original raiser folded out, Zhou made the call to take the action heads-up to a flop of . Zhou checked the action over to Ting Ting, who fired for 25,000 and Zhou slid out a chunky check-raise of 95,000. This sent Ting Ting into the tank, where she remained for around 2-minutes before making the call.
The turn saw Zhou now fire for 80,000, leaving himself 100,000 behind and Ting Ting quickly mucked. She dropped to 210,000 after the hand while Zhou climbed to 378,000.
