Welcome to Day 1 of Event #33 $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha High Roller at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure here at the beautiful Baha Mar Resort in The Bahamas. Today marks the first PLO event of the PCA, and with the high roller buy-in, it is sure to attract the best in the world.
Play kicks off at 2 p.m. local time and players who buy in before start time will be refunded 50% of the tournament fee. The starting stack is 50,000 in chips and blinds are 40 minutes in length.
Players will have an option to reenter, but only once, so they will have to make their chips count if they want a shot at a PCA title. This event is scheduled for two days with the winner being crowned tomorrow, on Sunday, January 29th.
Blinds will start at 100/200 with a 20-minute break scheduled every three levels. The top 15% will make the money and Day 1 will end once the players have cashed.

Adam Hendrix opened the action to 700 from the hijack and it folded to Cliff Josephy in the small blind who three-bet to 2,300. John Zable cold-called from the big blind and Hendrix came along as well.
The flop came and all three players checked to the turn. Josephy checked again and Zable sized to 5,000. Both Hendrix and Josephy made a quick fold and the early pot was shipped to Zable.

Cliff Josephy opened to 600 from under the gun and only Sam Haddad made the call in the cutoff. On the flop of , both players checked their options.
The hit the turn and Josephy fired for 2,000. Haddad took a moment before tossing his cards into the muck and the pot was sent to Josephy.
As the hand finished up, Dylan Smith joined the field with a starting stack of 50,000.

The action folded to Andrew Pantling on the button who opened for 600 and both Cliff Josephy and John Zable called from the blinds.
The flop fanned out and all three players checked to the turn. Josephy elected to lead out for 1,000 and only Zable made the call.
The completed the board and play was checked to a showdown. Zable quickly tabled for trip jacks and Josephy announced "your're good", before tossing his cards into the muck.

John Zable opened to 800 from under the gun and both Sam Haddad in the cutoff and Joao Simao on the button made the call.
The flop came and action checked to Simao who bet out 1,200. Both Zable and Haddad made the call and the hit the turn.
Zable checked again and Haddad decided to take the betting lead with a sizing of 6,000. Simao took some time, but eventually let his hand go and Zable quickly folded as well.
"Thats four in a row," said Haddad to the table as he dragged in his fourth pot in a row.
Meanwhile Keith Lehr sat down to join the PLO action.
