Dvoress Doubles with Aces

Level 15 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Mike Watson opened to 55,000 from under the gun and Jean-Noel Thorel three-bet to 150,000 in the cutoff. Daniel Dvoress four-bet to 250,000 on the button and the action folded back to Thorel who called.

The flop fell {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Thorel led out with a bet of 150,000. Dvoress just called and the {10-Clubs} paired the board on the turn. Thorel shoved all in and Dvoress called off his last 350,000.

Thorel turned over {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} but it was no match for the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} that Dvoress held. The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Dvoress collected a timely double-up.
