Marques Can't Get a River Call from Maue
Leonard Maue opened to 4,000 under the gun and action folded to Andre Marques in the cutoff, who three-bet to 13,000. The rest of the players got out of the way and Maue made the call.
The flop came out and Maue checked to Marques who continued for 8,000. Maue made the call and they went to the turn.
This time Maue led out for 12,000 and Marques made the call after a few moments of thought.
The river came the and Maue decided to check to Marques, who announced a pot-sized bet of 71,000, but before he could even get the chips out, Maue mucked his hand.
Marques smiled and shook his head as he flashed for a turned straight flush.
"Ahhh," he sighed, "I thought that was a good river card." This win brought him back up into the chip lead with close to 500,000.
