Proudfoot and Coleman Continue to Battle

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Romain Lewis opened to 1,000 from early position and was called by David Coleman and Jonathan Proudfoot from the blinds.

Coleman and Proudfoot had recently chopped a pot where the former was the shorter stack. Coleman had added to his stack since then, at what seemed to be at Proudfoot's expense as his stack had reduced in size.

On the {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, Coleman checked before Proudfoot led out for 800. Lewis quickly folded but Coleman called to continue their blossoming rivalry.

Coleman check-called for 1,700 on the {7-Clubs} turn and did the same for 4,200 on the {4-Diamonds} river.

Proudfoot could only show ten-high with his {10-}{9-}. Coleman tabled his {k-Spades}{8-Spades} and claimed the pot with eights and sevens.
