Coleman Rips, Pecheux Tanks

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Erwann Pecheux bet 5,000 into 17,000 from the cutoff on a completed board of {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades} and Maxx Coleman shoved all in for about 40,000 effective. Pecheux was already in the tank when we arrived and he thought for at least five more minutes while the rest of the players at the table joked around.

Finally, Fatima Moreira de Melo asked with a smile if they should shut up. Pecheux said he didn't need much more time and then finally folded, instructing Coleman not to show. Coleman grinned and slid his cards in face down.

"You know, the bare-ace bluff is only supposed to work in PLO," Dustin Dirksen said to the high-stakes PLO reg.
