Chen Burns Seven Time Banks

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

At the start of the day, all of the players carried forward the time banks they had from Day 1, plus they were each given three more before Day 2 began. It was a good thing for James Chen as he needed nearly all of his to make a decision.

A completed board of {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs} was spread across the table and Christopher Kruk checked from the big blind. Chen bet 26,000 into a pot of around 55,000 on the button and Kruk check-raised all in, putting Chen to the test for his remaining 66,000 chips.

Chen burned through time bank after time bank, seven in total, before finally making the decision to fold and give Kruk the pot.
