Hunichen and Kurganov Both Flop a Pair

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Igor Kurganov opened to 55,000 in the hijack with {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and was called by Chris Hunichen in the small blind with {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}. The flop came {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades} giving both players a pair but they checked to the {4-Diamonds} on the turn.

Another two checks led to the {2-Spades} as a couple of the big stacks played the hand very cautiously. Hunichen led out for 110,000 on the river and Kurganov quickly called only to see the bad news.
