Chidwick Doubles Through Catz, Vogelsang Eliminated

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

As the first break of the day approaches, the field is starting to shrink at a rapid pace. There were all-ins at multiple tables including Stephen Chidwick and Christoph Vogelsang. Chidwick opened to 16,000 on the button and Cary Katz shipped all in from the big blind. Chidwick called off his last 197,000 and the cards were on their backs.

Stephen Chidwick: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Cary Katz: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Chidwick held on for the double up despite Katz picking up tons of outs on the turn.

At the table next door, Vogelsang wasn't as lucky when he got involved in a pot with Henrik Hecklen. We didn't catch Vogelsang's cards before they hit the muck but Hecklen held pocket eights on a nine-high board and sent Vogelsang packing.
