Kenny Takes a Bit of Coin from Hobbs

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Every once in awhile a new face pops up in a Super High Roller, and that's the case here in the PCA $100K.

Kevin Hobbs has a been involved in trading and corporate finance in various roles since 2005, and he now serves as the Director of Operations at The Vanbex Group. While he focuses on Bitcoin/Blockchain industry, today he's turning his attention to poker.

In a recent hand, Kenney raised from the hijack and Hobbs three-bet to 8,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Kenney, and he popped it to 27,000, which Hobbs called.

The {5-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop saw Kenney bet 31,000, Hobbs call, and the {10-Clubs} appear on the turn.

Both players checked and then Kenney bet 82,000 on the {3-Diamonds} river. Hobbs called but mucked when Kenney tabled the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for top pair with top kicker.
