Stashin and Weis Continue to Dance

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

On a flop of {Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} Oliver Weis checked over to Michael Stashin who put out a bet of 18,000. Weis called so the two headed to a turn.

The turn was the {A-Clubs} and this time both players slowed down and checked. On the {4-Spades} river, Weis led out for 26,000. Stashin dropped back in his chair and took off his glasses upon seeing the bet.

"Did you spike the ace?" he asked. Weis did not respond. Stashin thought for a few more seconds, then called.

Weis showed {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} but it was no good as Stashin was holding {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}.

"Were you betting for value or as a bluff?" Stashin asked after the hand.

"Value of course," Weis said. Stashin collected the pot and recovered some of his chips while Weis continued to fall down the counts.
