Yaroshevskyy Doubles Through Thorel

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

A flop of {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} was already on the table when we arrived and Pablo Cabrera checked from the small blind. Jean-Noel Thorel bet 15,000 from the big blind and Igor Yaroshevskyy shoved from the button. Cabrera went into the tank and used one time bank token before he ultimately folded. Thorel, who had Yaroshevskyy covered by a very narrow margin, called.

Thorel: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Yaroshevskyy: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Thorel found himself trailing Yaroshevskyy's flopped set and needed a lot of help from the deck to win the pot. The {A-Hearts} on the turn gave Thorel top two pair, but the {3-Diamonds} river changed nothing, so Yaroshevskyy took the pot to leave Thorel with crumbs. He busted shortly thereafter.

Adams Takes from Seidel

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

There were about 75,000 chips already in the pot and the board read {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} when we got to the table. Timothy Adams was in the big blind and heads-up with Erik Seidel, who was in the cutoff. When Adams had five seconds left on the shot clock, he bet 20,000. Seidel called, Adams tabled {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} for a flopped set of kings, Seidel mucked, and Adams took the pot.

Petrangelo Catches Adams Bluffing

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The action folded to Timothy Adams on the button who raised to 3,000. Nick Petrangelo defended his big blind and the flop came {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}.

Petrangelo checked to Adams who continued for 2,500 and Petrangelo called. The turn brought the {3-Diamonds} and Petrangelo checked again. Adams fired another 12,000 and Petrangelo called to see the {9-Clubs} on the river.

Petrangelo checked for the third time and Adams threw in a bet of 32,000. Petrangelo tossed in a single chip to signify a call and Adams tossed his cards away. Petrangelo flashed the {10-Hearts} as the pot was being pushed his way.

There were about 40,000 chips already in the middle and the board read {K-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} when we got to the table. Jonathan Kamhazi bet 19,000 from the big blind and Ari Engel called from under the gun.

The {10-Clubs} fell on the river and Kamhazi checked. Engel bet 26,500, Kahmazi mucked, and Engel took the pot.

Kamhazi had about 50,000 chips after the hand and was eliminated in unknown action shortly thereafter.

Seidel on His Second Bullet

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

After dusting off his first entry in the first few hands, Erik Seidel is now on his second and final bullet of the day. In his first hand back at the table, he opened to 2,500 from under the gun and Timothy Adams re-raised to 8,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Seidel made the call.

The flop fell {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Seidel check-called a bet of 5,500 from Adams. The {9-Hearts} landed on the turn and both players checked to the {3-Spades} on the river. Seidel tossed in a bet of 7,000 and Adams looked him up. Seidel turned over {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for top pair and Adams' cards hit the muck.

Chidwick Doubles Through Kornuth

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

There were about 13,000 chips already in the middle and the board read {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} when we got to the table. Stephen Chidwick bet 7,000 from the small blind and Chance Kornuth called from the hijack.

The turn brought the {K-Hearts} and Chidwick bet 13,000. Kornuth called.

The {4-Diamonds} fell on the river, Chidwick shoved for 39,000, and Kornuth called with the larger of the two stacks by a wide margin. Chidwick tabled {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and his flopped top set was best against Kornuth, who held {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}, so he took the pot to double up.
