Lehr Accuses Philachack of Having No Heart

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Andy Philachack just raised to 500 and Luc Greenwood three-bet from his direct left to 1,500, getting the other players to quickly fold. Philachack made the call and the flop brought out {7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades} on which Philachack checked to Greenwood.

Greenwood bet 2,000 on the flop and Philachack called, putting the {10-Spades} on the turn.

Philachack checked to Greenwood again, who bet 5,500 on the turn and his opponent called again.

The river completed the board with the {J-Diamonds} and Philachack checked a third time.

Greenwood did not stop betting as he fired out 13,000, and Philachack went into the tank for quite some time before folding.

Philachack showed the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} as he threw his cards into the muck.

"Aces, kings, jacks, tens," Philachack named off the hands that he couldn't beat.

"If the river's not a jack I call for sure," Philachack added.

"Everything beats me," Philachack finally said, after which Keith Lehr responded right away.

"Your tiny little heart beats you," Lehr said, as the players at the table started laughing.

"Come on man, show some heart!" Lehr added. "If it was me, I would've already been at the window for a rebuy."

Greenwood eventually consoled Philachack, saying, "It's better to have discipline than heart," but he did not reveal the contents of his hand.
