Mercier's Wild Ride
Action folded around to Jason Mercier in the small blind and he announced that he was all in. Justin Bonomo instantly called for his own tournament life from the big blind and the cards were turned over.

The board ran out , giving Bonomo a winning two pair to double up. The stacks were counted down and it was revealed that Mercier had Bonomo covered by just a single T1,000 chip. This amounts to half of an ante, which Mercier was forced to put in the next hand. He won that pot with his besting Fedor Holz's to survive a tiny bit longer.
On the following hand, Mercier moved all in from the cutoff. Holz completed his small blind only to have Christoph Vogelsang raise from the big blind. Holz folded and Mercier tabled against Vogelsang's . Mercier held once again, allowing him to gain that much more footing. He folded the next three hands and then doubled once again - this time earning some chips from Bryn Kenney.
Despite this wild ride, Mercier is far from feeling comfortable. He now has about 51,000 to his name which amounts to 2.5 big blinds.
