The starting field of 816 entrants is down to just 175 players who are still in the running for this prestigious title and the first-place prize of $1,491,580. On top of the chip counts with Walter Fisher with 497,000. Rounding out the top five is Hugh Drummond (456,800), Juan Martin Pastor (446,000), Adam Reynolds (378,500) and Diego Ventura (362,800).

The plan for the day is to play another five levels, which should bring the field well into the money. The top 119 will make the money, with a min-cash being worth $17,800.
