That's all she wrote from Day 1 of the $25,000 High Roller at the 2015 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. After 10 hours of play, the surviving players have bagged up their chips to return for the second day of action. In the end it was none other than 2013 PCA $100,000 Super High Roller champion Scott Seiver who bagged up the top spot on the chip counts with 307,000 in chips.

Seiver emerged as the one of the top stacks in the room about halfway through the day and was able to ride that momentum to the very top of the counts by the end of the night. Other top stacks include Oleksii Khoroshenin (272,00), Niall Farrell (271,000), Georgios Sotiropoulos (262,000), and Team PokerStars Pro Andre Akkari (258,800).

The event attracted a record-breaking 257 entries throughout Day 1, and that stemmed from 197 unique players and 60 reentries. This trumps last year's record-setting performance of 247 total entries. With registration still open until the start of Day 2, this total is expected to soar to an even higher one.

This event offered a single reentry to players whose bankrolls were deep enough given an elimination on the first bullet. Among the players to take advantage of that were Ivan Luca, Antonio Buonanno, Darren Elias, Christoph Vogelsang, Kevin MacPhee, Ivan Luca, Max Altergott, Ole Schemion, Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree, and Sergio Aido.

While Seiver bagged up the top stack, he is among the most elite competition possible in poker. Some of the notable stacks to return for Day 2 include Davidi Kitai (244,700), Faraz Jaka (222,700), Dominik Nitsche (211,800), Tony Gregg (193,400), Dani Stern (145,100), Brandon Steven (137,700), Mike McDonald (113,900), Shaun Deeb (110,700), and this year's $100,000 Super High Roller champion Steve O'Dwyer (84,700). Also returning to the felt on Day 2 is reigning champion Jake Schindler, who bagged a solid stack of 128,500.

Team PokerStars Pro also had a solid showing with several of the professionals advancing to the second day. Among those returning are Jason Mercier (153,800), Daniel Negreanu (153,300), Jake Cody (124,300), and Eugene Katchalov (41,800).

Some of the players to fire two bullets but ultimately come up short include Isaac Haxton, Matt Waxman, and Buonanno.

Play resumes at 12 p.m. on Tuesday in the luxurious Atlantis Paradise Island. As always, PokerNews will be on hand to provide all of the latest from the tournament floor.
