But Where Will We Buy Our X-Ray Glasses and Sea Monkeys?

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Dan Heimiller's High Roller run continues, but while his chips are up his website is down. Featuring various blurbs about his poker accomplishments, as well as other notable achievements ("I finished third in the University of Detroit Toothpick Bridge contest."), plus great comic book-style ads for X-ray glasses, sea monkeys, and more, the site earned a small cult following over recent years, despite being perennially "under construction."

But wait! Is the site down for good, or only temporarily? Find out at the PokerStars Blog.

Seiver Gets Some Back

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Scott Seiver limped from the small blind, Dominik Nitsche raised from the big blind and Seiver reraised all in for about 490,000. Nitsche folded and Seiver collected the pot.

A few hands later, Oleksii Khoroshenin opened to 60,000 from under the gun and Seiver three-bet to 140,000 from the hijack. Action folded around to Khoroshenin who folded as well.

Trip Aces for Petrangelo

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Dan Heimiller check-called a bet of 60,000 from Nick Petrangelo on the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} flop to see the {6-Spades} land on the turn. Both players checked, and the river was the {J-Clubs}. Heimiller checked, and Petrangelo bet 50,000. Heimiller called.

Petrangelo showed the {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for tip aces, and Heimiller mucked.

Four-Bet from Khoroshenin; Trips for Nitsche

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

From under the gun, Dominik Nitsche raised to 50,000. Lee Markholt was next up from the hijack seat, and he reraised to 145,000. Play then folded over to Oleksii Khoroshenin in the small blind, and he took his time before reraising to 275,000. Play folded back to Nitsche, he gave it up, and then Markholt tossed in his cards as well to give Khoroshenin the pot.

On the next next, Khoroshenin opened the action from the button to 50,000. Only Nitsche called out of the big blind, and the flop produced the {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Nitsche checked, Khoroshenin bet 55,000, and Nitsche called.

The turn was the {9-Hearts}, and both players checked to see the {A-Clubs} land on the river. Nitsche led for 130,000, and Khoroshenin called.

Nitsche showed the {J-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for trip deuces, and Khoroshenin mucked his hand with a shrug.

Heimiller Bets Dark Again

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo Goes Two-for-Two with Heimiller
Nick Petrangelo Goes Two-for-Two with Heimiller

On the very next hand, Nick Petrangelo raised to 52,000 and it folded over to Dan Heimiller in the small blind. Heimiller once again cut out a three-bet, this time making it 140,000 to go. Petrangelo once again stuck around.

"One-sixty," said Heimiller, making another dark bet as soon as Petrangelo's chips were dragged into the pot.

The flop came down {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Heimiller's 160,000 was already placed in the center of the table. Petrangelo called to see a turn.

The {2-Diamonds} paired the board on fourth street and Heimiller fired out a bet of 275,00. Petrangelo announced an all in raise for about 665,000 total and Heimiller instantly threw his hands to his head and leaned back in his seat. He let out a groan and flicked his cards at the muck.

Petrangelo quietly showed the {10-Hearts} and took down the pot. He now has about 1.56 million in chips while Heimiller has dropped to 1.18 million.

Garibli Puts the Pressure on Seiver

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Scott Seiver raised to 52,000 from the hijack, Ilkin Garibli three-bet to 110,000 from the big blind and Seiver called.

The flop fell {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} and Garibli continued for 146,000. Seiver called to see the {6-Spades} turn where Garibli fired 325,000. Seiver mulled it over for about 90 seconds, but ultimately folded.

Heimiller Bets in the Dark

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Dan Heimiller
Dan Heimiller

Nick Petrangelo raised to 55,000 and it folded around to Dan Heimiller in the big blind. Heimiller cut out a three-bet to 135,000 and Petrangelo called.

Before the flop was dealt, Heimiller instantly shot out a bet of 150,000 in the dark. The dealer fanned {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and action was over to Petrangelo. He sat thinking for well over a minute before he moved forward calling chips. The {3-Clubs} hit the turn and Heimiller checked. Petrangelo knocked the table back and the {5-Diamonds} finished the board. Two more checks occurred and Heimiller flipped up {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for king-high. Petrangelo showed {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for top pair and he was awarded the pot.

"It was in the logo," said Petrangelo, remarking about how Heimiller's dark bet was in the PCA logo on the table. "I didn't see you bet dark."

"Yeah, I got it in before the cards came out," said Heimiller.

"You're a f*cking wizard," quipped back Petrangelo as he stacked his new chips.

Oleksii Khoroshenin opened to 50,000 from the hijack, Dominik Nitsche called on the button and Faraz Jaka defended his big blind.

The flop fell {Q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Jaka checked to Khoroshenin who continued for 65,000. Nitsche called before Jaka check-raised to 145,000. Khoroshenin folded, Nitsche called and the {4-Hearts} turn fell.

Jaka shoved for about 290,000 and Nitsche gave it up.
