Esfandiari Passes Two Million

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Antonio Esfandiari made it 64,000 from the button and found a call from Mike McDonald in the big blind. The flop came down {2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and McDonald checked. Esfandiari moved forward a continuation of 73,000 and McDonald responded with a call.

The {3-Hearts} turned and prompted two checks from the players. Fifth street finished off the board with the {9-Diamonds} and McDonald checked once again. Esfandiari cut out a bet of 176,000 and McDonald called. The Magician rolled over {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for nines and sixes which caused Timex to throw his hand into the muck. Esfandiari scooped the pot and now has roughly 2.05 million in chips.
