Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst Eliminated in 3rd Place ($760,640)

Level 23 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Vanessa Selbst - 3rd Place
Vanessa Selbst - 3rd Place

Vanessa Selbst raised to 350,000 out of the small blind with {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Dan Shak moved all in with {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} out of the big blind, and Selbst snap-folded.

The very next hand, Selbst moved all in for just over two million on the button with {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Shak folded in the small blind, and Fabian Quoss called in the big blind with {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

The dealer fanned {6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, giving Quoss a wheel draw to go with his leading ace-high, and the {4-Spades} on the turn gave him a pair. It also gave Selbst chop outs, but the {3-Spades} on the river wasn't one of them.

Selbst, who won the $25,000 High Roller at the 2013 PCA, will walk away with $760,640, while Quoss has over nine million chips heading into heads-up play.

Quoss Doubles Through Selbst, Takes Chip Lead

Level 23 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Fabian Quoss - Chip Leader
Fabian Quoss - Chip Leader

Vanessa Selbst opened to 320,000 on the button with {A-Spades}{K-Spades} and it folded over to Fabian Quoss who called from the big blind with {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Quoss checked it over to Selbst. The Team PokerStars Pro continued out for 320,000 and Quoss flatted.

The {A-Hearts} drilled the turn, giving Selbst top two pair but ultimately the second hand behind Quoss' Broadway straight. Quoss checked for a second time and Selbst moved 480,000 forward. Quoss called once more and the {6-Diamonds} completed the board.

Quoss knuckled the table one last time and Selbst moved 980,000 forward. Quoss announced a raise all in for 2.21 million total and Selbst immediately stirred in her seat.

"I call," said Selbst. "I can't fold this hand."

Quoss was able to score a full double up and now sits in the top chip position at the table with 6.88 million.

Huge Double for Selbst

Level 23 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Vanessa Selbst
Vanessa Selbst

After losing a massive pot, Vanessa Selbst raised to 350,000 out of the small blind with {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Dan Shak three-bet to one million with {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, Selbst moved all in for 3.21 million, and Shak immediately called.

The {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop gave Shak a backdoor straight draw, but the {4-Spades} on the turn ended those dreams. The paired board gave Shak chop outs though, but again the deck failed him on the river.

The {9-Clubs} bricked off, and the Team PokerStars Pro doubled up.
