McDonald Scores Massive Double, Busts Weinman

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Mike McDonald Grabs All of the Chips
Mike McDonald Grabs All of the Chips

Mike "Timex" McDonald has just vaulted to the top of the chip counts after scooping a massive pot wherein he doubled through Jason Helder and eliminated Daniel Weinman.

The action began when McDonald opened to 27,000 from early position. Weinman shipped all in over the top for about 250,000 from the next seat over. It folded to Jason Helder in the big blind who looked down at his cards and announced a flat call of the all in.

Action came back to Timex and he sat for a moment before announcing that he was all in over the top for 1.041 million total. Helder announced a call and the table let out a collective gasp at the size of this pot.

McDonald: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}
Helder: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Weinman: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

McDonald was way out in the lead and five cards away from scooping a massive pot. The dealer fanned out a safe-looking flop of {5-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and McDonald's aces held the lead. The {4-Spades} hit the turn which meant that Weinman was drawing dead. He stood from the table and shook McDonald's hand. The {7-Clubs} completed the board and a smiling McDonald reached across the table to collect towers and towers of blue T5,000 chips.

Timex is now sitting on 2.35 million while Helder has been left crippled to just 80,000.
