Boyaciyan's Aces Hold Against Koon

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Jason Koon just walked away from the tournament area and we went over to his former table to find out what happened. Noah Schwartz was kind enough to give us the information on how Koon was eliminated.

David Boyaciyan raised preflop from the under-the-gun position and Jason Koon called holding {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. The flop brought {2-}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Boyaciyan bet 3,500, Koon raised to 8,600 and the Dutchman came right back over the top to 14,800.

Koon moved all in for 52,000 and Boyaciyan called with {A-Clubs}{A-}. Koon had a big draw but the turn, the {K-Spades}, and the river the {6-Spades} did not help him turn things in his favor.
