It's Not Treys Full, But Mercier's Not Complaining

Four players were in action on the {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, and Scott Seiver was first to act. He checked to Christian Harder, who bet 3,200. Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier made the call, and then Anthony Gregg folded. Seiver took his time after action fell back on him before check-raising to 8,600. Harder folded, but Mercier made the call.

The turn card paired the board when the {6-Hearts} fell. Seiver stayed on the gas and bet 12,600. Mercier didn't rush things and made the call to head to fifth street.

On the river, the {4-Clubs} landed. Seiver moved all in for a little over 40,000. Mercier snap-called as if he were acting out his best Phil Hellmuth impression. Seiver knew it was bad news even though he tabled the {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a straight to the six. Mercier had him beat with the {2-Spades}{2-Clubs} for a full house.

Mercier was all in on the river for 31,600, and he vaulted his stack well over 100,000 while leaving Seiver with just 10,300 in chips.
