Shak Attacks
We only saw the final betting actions in this hand, walking up to a river that put on the board. There was about 130,000 in the pot, and Dan Shak shoved in for 134,300. He was up against Philipp Gruissem, and Gruissem cut the calling chips from his stack to eye up the potential damage. A call would have left him with about 65,000 chips if he lost, and he spent a minute or two pondering.
"You wanna rebuy?" Gruissem eventually piped up, smirking at his own question. Shak didn't flinch, and he eventually earned the pot with a Gruissem fold.
