One Down, One Up For Pagano

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Luca Pagano (Day 2)
Luca Pagano (Day 2)

In the hijack, Luca Pagano opened to 14,000, but it was not going to get through. Next door, Yevgeniy Timoshenko shoved in for 90,500 total, and Pagano gave a token soak in the tank for a moment before releasing.

On the next hand, Pagano opened again — 14,500 this time. Galen Hall came along with a smooth call from the button, and it was "head-up to the flop," as Robbie Thompson announced it. The dealer spread out {4-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}, and a bet of 18,500 from Pagano was good enough to end the hand right there.

"You smashed that one, huh?" Hall asked after he mucked. Pagano just quietly stacked up, earning a small profit over that two-hand series.
