Heitmann Trips Up Geyer
Just the tail end of this pot, but one that's definitely worth mentioning. When we walked over to one of the far tables, we were just in time to see Adam Geyer paying off a big double up to Team PokerStars Pro Jan Heitmann. Geyer had been having a hot level, but having to pay off 233,500 stole back all of those hard-earned profits.
The board was already out on the table when we walked up, and Heitmann's was good for the double. We never saw what Geyer had, but based on the scowl on his face, it was better than ace-three before the flop. But the trips work rather nicely for Heitmann, and he's doubled his way up to 550,000 or so.
