Mattern Tanks Into Break
Team PokerStars Pro Arnaud Mattern just lost a pot that knocked him back to 136,000. The hand lasted nearly half of the break time and here's what went down.
Mattern raised from middle position to 1,400 and he was called in two spots — another player in middle position and the cutoff seat. The flop came down 
and Mattern fired a continuation bet of 2,450. The next player folded, but the cutoff seat wanted to play for more and made it 6,700 to go. Mattern tanked for a couple minutes and then called.
The turn brought the 
and Mattern checked. His opponent slid out a bet of 13,500. Mattern tanked and tanked. Eventually, he folded his hand and let his opponent scoop the pot.
