It's Always Funner

Nicolas Fierro squeezed out {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} in the middle seat, and he opened to 70,000. Over in the small blind, Isaac Haxton was dealt {A-Hearts} {10-Spades}, and he paused to consider. The last 691,000 of his chips eventually went in as he declared his intentions, and Fierro made the easy call to put Haxton in a bad spot.

The {5-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {J-Hearts} flop was a miss, but there were "a lot of interesting turn cards," as someone at the table said. The {Q-Diamonds} only served to flip-flop his outs, and Haxton was drawing dead to Boadway with one card to come.

Sure enough, though, the suicide {K-Hearts} dropped off the deck like a bolt of thunder, and Haxton spiked lucky to earn the come-from-behind double. It moves him back around the chip average with 1.432 million, while Fierro has been knocked all the way back to 808,000.
