Mercier Leads The Final 12
Wecome to Day 3 of the $25,000 High Roller event here at the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure! Out of the 151 entrants, 90 players returned for Day 2. After 12 levels, just 12 remain, all with a shot to capture the $1,72,850 first-place prize.
Jason Mercier is the chip leader with 1,023,000, but his Day 2 was hardly a breeze. With 21 players left, Mercier nearly went from second in chips to out after his tournament life was at risk against Day 1 chip leader Ryan Fair. However, Mercier's overcards prevailed against Fair's pair, vaulting Mercier back up the counts en route to the end-of-day chip lead. Here are the Day 3 seating assignments.
