Mercier Doesn't Fold to Hachem
With a little less than 10,000 chips in the middle, Rachid Ben Cherif checked to Jason Mercier on the flop of 
. He bet 4,100 and Joe Hachem made the call. Ben Cherif folded.
The turn card was the 
and Mercier led for 7,300 into his opponent. Hachem raised to 16,500 and Mercier thought for a bit before calling.
The 
fell on the river and Mercier tapped the table to check to Hachem. His fellow Team PokerStars Pro fired a hefty 27,000 into the pot. The bet sent Mercier into the tank for a couple minutes. Eventually, he committed the chips to make the call.
"You never fold, do you?" asked Hachem as he turned over the

Mercier moved to about 125,000 while Hachem dropped back to 55,000.
