Dinner Time

Our final two players have been sent off for a one-hour dinner break. They'll return at 7:30pm to duel it out for the trophy. Here's how they'll stack up when the heads-up contest begins.

Reiman - 28,265,000
Gimbel - 17,255,000

Barry Shulman Eliminated in 3rd Place ($1,350,000)

Barry Shulman - 3rd Place
Barry Shulman - 3rd Place
Hand #134 - Harrison Gimbel

Barry Shulman has the button. He moves all in, and Ty Reiman quickly folds. In the big blind, though, Harrison Gimbel checks his cards, frowns, and calls the 4.165-million-chip shove.

Showdown
Gimbel: {A-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}
Shulman: {Q-Clubs} {10-Spades}

Shulman should be used to this sweat by now, and he sits statue-still while the dealer prepares to run the board. When he does, it's not very thrilling at all: {5-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {6-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}.

That is no help at all to Barry Shulman, and the table has finally managed to eliminate him. After holding strong for most of the day, Shulman has been knocked off in third place. He'll take home $1,350,000 for his efforts this week.

Hand #132 - Ty Reiman

Ty Reiman has the button, and he limps into the pot. Harrison Gimbel completes from the small blind, and Barry Shulman knocks the table for a free flop from the big blind.

It comes out {9-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}. When the blinds check, Reiman fires 325,000. Gimbel ducks out, and Shulman puts in the call to go heads up the rest of the way.

The two men check-check when the {9-Clubs} hits the turn, and Shulman checks again on the river {10-Clubs}. Reiman fires 500,000 at the pot, and Shulman folds.

Hand #131 - Harrison Gimbel

Barry Shulman has the button and he folds, sending the action over to Ty Reiman who completes from the small blind. Harrison Gimbel checks his option in the big and the flop comes {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}.

Both players check the flop and the turn brings the {9-Clubs}. Reiman checks again, Gimbel bets 300,000 and Reiman surrenders.

Hand #130 - Ty Reiman

Harrison Gimbel has the button. He passes, and Barry Shulman raises to 500,000 from the small blind. Ty Reiman calls in the big, and the flop comes out {4-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {8-Clubs}. Shulman checks, and he'll fold to a bet of 420,000. A very reluctant fold, we might add. His wife is a fan though as she yells, "Very good, honey. Very good!"

Hand #129 - Ty Reiman

Ty Reiman has the button and opens with a raise to 430,000. Harrison Gimbel makes the call from the small blind and Barry Shulman folds his big blind, sending the action heads-up to a {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Two quick checks bring us to the turn -- {5-Diamonds}.

Gimbel checks, Reiman bets 400,000 and Gimbel folds.

Hand #128 - Ty Reiman

Barry Shulman has the button, and he folds. Ty Reiman completes from the small blind, and Harrison Gimbel raises to 600,000 total. Reiman calls again, and they head off to the flop.

Both men check through the board running {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {8-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}. Gimbel shows up {K-Hearts} {10-Hearts} for the pair, and Reiman looks frustrated. He tables {K-Clubs} {J-Hearts} for the nuts, unable to get his opponent to fire a bet. He'll win the pot worth 1.26 million, though.

Hand #127 - Ty Reiman

Harrison Gimbel has the button and opens with a raise to 450,000. Barry Shulman makes the call from the small blind and when the action reaches Ty Reiman in the big, he three-bets, prompting both Gimbel and Shulman to fold before we could get Reiman's bet amount.
