Fishberg With the KO
Shortly after taking a massive chunk out of the stack two seats to his left, Gregory Fishberg sent that same opponent to the rail.
The hand started with Fishberg's opponent opening for 4,500 in the hijack, and Fishberg calling on the button.
The flop came , and both players checked.
The hijack check-called a 15,000 bet from Fishberg on the turn.
The hijack checked again on the river, Fishberg bet 125,000, enough to cover his opponent, and the hijack called. Fishberg tabled for the flush, besting the opponent's wheel straight.
Fishberg told PokerNews that he's been playing tight all day, and he appears to be in the chip lead with two levels to play. Fishberg was the Day 1c chip leader in the Parx Big Stax 300, and has a shot at accomplishing the same feat on Day 1a of the Big Stax 500.
