Cohen Calls Off for Tournament Life

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Brandon Lulov raised to 90,000 on the button and then called when Mike Cohen three-bet to 340,000 from the big blind. The latter then check-called a bet of 225,000 on the {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop before both players checked the {2-Spades} turn.

When the {7-Spades} completed the board on the river, Cohen checked for the third time and Lulov leveraged his big stack by moving all in.

Cohen hit the tank for a bit but eventually called off for 1.195 million with the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. It was good as Lulov had been bluffing with the {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Jin Lee Eliminated in 12th Place ($10,490)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jin Lee
Jin Lee

Chip leader Brandon Lulov opened for 90,000 from the hijack and the short-stacked Jin Lee called from the small blind.

Lee then checked the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop and Lulov continued for 40,000. Lee check-raised all in for around 400,000 and Lulov snap-called.

Brandon Lulov: {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Jin Lee: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Lee had flopped middle pair with top kicker but Lulov was ahead with bottom two pair.

Neither the {5-Hearts} turn nor {7-Spades} river changed a thing and Lee was the first player to fall on Day 3.
