Early Thursday morning, the World Poker Tour Online Poker Open powered by partypoker US Network wrapped up its series with the conclusion of the $215 buy-in Phased $40K GTD, a tournament that drew 278 entries and offered up a $57,084 prize pool.

A few levels later, Alex "Hashtag_Hashtag" Rocha and his pocket queens fell in sixth place after "KingofNJ" flopped a set of nines. "beast801" was the next player to fall after they lost a race holding a pair of sixes against "Rtrin777" holding big slick.
"pokerman1" dropped next after they jammed their short stack in the middle preflop holding the better hand but was flushed out on the river by "Rtrin777". A few hands later saw "KingofNJ" take their exit in third place after they failed to connect on straight and flush draws.
The heads-up battle saw "KrookedTyrant" hold a 2:1 chip advantage but their aggression turned against them as they doubled-up "Rtrin777" within the first few hands and they couldn't gain any momentum from that point as they took home a second place finish.
