Day 1 Completed
"dhimp20" is the most recent winner of a partypoker US Network Online Series tournament, taking down Event #7: $20,000 GTD NLH. "dhimp20" was seen at the top of the leaderboard throughout the tournament as they outlasted 169 runners on their way to claiming the top prize of $8,788.
The event saw only 29 players start off the tournament but the players continued to pile in as the $20,000 GTD prize pool was surpassed before the start of Level 12.
Once the registration period ended, the $33,800 prize pool became official with the top 18 players receiving a payday.
There were 35 players to start Level 19 but that number quickly dwindled to 18 after "njpainter" bubbled the money at the start of Level 22. Once in the money, it took three full levels before the final table was reached.
"IReadYrSoul" was the first person to drop at the final table after their pocket jacks were out-flopped by "Yogapaul1's" ace-four.
A full Level passed before "Shaun341" hit the rail in eighth place and they were followed by "Borgatcha" who took their exit seventh place.
"nigock" was next on the chopping block after they got their short-stack in with the better hand but had an unfortunate runout ending their tournament in sixth place.
Once five-handed action began, "dhimp20" went on an elimination spree, knocking out the remaining four players in Level 31.
