The 2020 partypoker US Network Online Event #5: $15,000 GTD NLH Black Chip Bounty Rebuy came and went Tuesday evening as "centrfieldr23" ran straight through the competition, outlasting a field of 96 for the first-place prize of $5,766 plus an additional $1,100 in bounties.

The fifth event saw only 14 players start off the tournament but the players continued to pile in as the $15,000 GTD prize pool was surpassed before the start of Level 6.

Once the registration period ended, the $29,280 prize pool became official with the top 11 players receiving a payday.

There were 18 players to start Level 19 but that number quickly dwindled to 13 as the hand-for-hand process started before the start of Level 21.

BorgataPoker.com Sponsored Pro Daniel “leinad” Buzgon was the player to see the worst fall in those two short levels as his once favorable chip stack fell on the bubble.

Alex “JinYang” Butcher stack hit the dust the very same hand as Buzgon but Butcher held the superior chip stack and took the $541 11th place prize.

Falling shortly after was "Dex_Osama" as they were out-kicked by "MollyPercocets in 10th place setting the stage for the final table.

Final Table Action

Final table action started with Ryan “TheSims” Hohner getting two quick double-ups followed by two eliminations.

"plumberboy699" was the first to fall in ninth place after their hooks lost a flip to "Djp120388", followed by "FMFalconer1's" exit in eighth place.

A full two levels passed and two more virtual bodies dropped as Ryan "Whosyourdoddy" Dodd grinded his short stack out in seventh place while "BoozeHound who fell victim to eventual champ "centrfieldr23" in sixth place.

"MollyPercocets" lost a flip and was eliminated in fifth place by "centrfieldr23" who ended their night with a tournament-high 10 bounties.

In the $10 buy-in Event #2: $2,500 GTD NLH R+A, 126 players rebought 166 times and accounted for 36 add-ons, which surpassed the guarantee by creating a $2,952 prize pool.
