In Level 9 with blinds of 1,000/2,000 and an ante of 250, action was heads up on a flop of between "Lanfeust" in middle position and "NoRecourse," who was in the cutoff. A series of betting and raising wound up with "Lanfeust" all in for a total pot size of 134,000.

"NoRecourse" needed to hit a three outer to secure the pot, but instead "Lanfeust" was the one to hit two pair on the turn . Such a turn secured them the double, leaving "NoRecourse" drawing dead to the river to complete the runout.
The tournament has reached its second break of the evening in Level 8 with blinds of 800/1,600 and an ante of 200. Twenty-seven players are seated across three full tables, and 64 entries have been recorded. Registration will remain open until the end of Level 12.

In Level 7 with blinds of 600/1,200 and an ante of 125, "RobertJordan" opened to 6,000 in the hijack and was called by "Luckyduck," who was on the button. "rumpthumper" was next to act in the small blind and three-bet jammed for 25,500.
"RLMmachine" called all in for 2,100 and then "RobertJordan" shoved over the top for 73,500. "Luckyduck" called, and all four players' hands were shown.
"rumpthumper" smashed the flop to pull ahead of the pack and become the favorite for a triple and a bounty. They stayed there as two bricks came to complete the runout. "RLMmachine" was eliminated as a result, while the final side pot was sent to "Luckyduck" for nearly 100,000 as their pocket fours held versus king-queen suited for a bounty of their own.
Both "RLMmachine" and "RobertJordan" quickly re-entered, resulting in two more entries being added to the now-62 total that have been logged over halfway through the registration period.
In Level 6 with blinds of 500/1,000 and an ante of 125, "phillychzsteak1" opened to 3,000 in early position and "Lanfeust" three-bet shoved for 12,800. "phillychzsteak1" called and the two were off to the races.

"Lanfeust" picked up four more outs to a backdoor gutshot straight draw to add to the sweat, but did not fill up on the river to result in "phillychzsteak1" earning the pot and the bounty. "Lanfeust" wasted no time re-entering, receiving a new stack of 30,000 on a new table to get right back in on the action.
In Level 5 with blinds of 400/800 and an ante of 100, preflop action saw 5,100 go into the middle in a heads-up pot between "pay4medschool" in the big blind and Mike “MistaMenza” Menzer, who was under the gun. The flop was .

The river missed, and the pot was shipped to Menzer. He also earned the bounty, and "pay4medschool" quickly re-entered to be seated in the same exact seat without missing more than a hand.
