Congratulations to Eric “alwaysliquid” Vanauken, Winner of Event #3 $15,000 Guaranteed Progressive Bounty
Another Progressive Bounty Event is in the books in partypoker US Network PKO Series, and the winner was Eric “alwaysliquid” Vanauken. For his efforts, Vanauken took home nearly $6,400. Check out a full breakdown of the final table below.
It was just the latest win for Vanauken on the network after shipping back-to-back events in the partypoker US Network Online Series earlier this month. He first topped a 134-entry field to win Event #4: $15,000 GTD NLH for $7,463.80 and the next day bested 144 entries to win Event #5: $7,500 GTD Green Chip Bounty for $3,145.30.
Final Table Results
Place | Player | Prize | KO | Total Winnings |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Eric “alwaysliquid” Vanauken | $4,320 | $2,073.44 | $6,393.44 |

On the direct money bubble with seven players, Vanauken was actually the short stack by quite a large margin. However, he would score a double up on the bubble and would continue to rise up the counts from there. Local known pro Michael "Gags30" Gagliano would wind up being the bubble boy, after getting it in good, but losing to an eventual full house.
Vanauken would remain one of the short stacks until he scored a big knockout of "rounder1420", when his pocket jacks held against his opponent's ace-kack.
Not long after, another big hand would see Vanauken scored another big knockout. It was pocket aces this time, and those aces held against another ace-jack. Heads-up play wouldn't last very long, as Vanauken made quick work of "phillychzsteak1."
The Progressive Bounty tournaments roll on tomorrow with a $12,000 Guaranteed Event, just like the opening event. It will be starting up at 7:30 p.m. ET at PokerNews will offer live updates.
