The Day 1f field of the Main Event has ballooned to 355 entrants with 253 players currently still in their seats.
Borge Sandsgaard busted early in the day after running top pair into a flopped set, but the Norwegian is now back and fighting to stay in it. It can't be easy, though, with Edzevit Zukorlic at the table. The Serbian player is opening tons of pots and playing very aggressively, and though Sandsgaard did succeed in taking one off Zukorlic just now, when he moved all-in over a bet of 7,000 and a call on a board, Zukorlic doesn't appear to slow down.
The very next hand Zukorlic added another tower of chips to his castle courtesy of tablemate Dalibor Hill, and Zukorlic is now pushing the 400,000 mark.

Greece's Konstantinos Nanos is one of Greece's most successful live poker tournament players with almost $1.2 million in cashes, which includes a win in the 2015 partpoker WPT Austria Main Event for €150,000 and another win last month in a 2017 PokerStars Championship Monte Carlo side event for €141,700.
Nanos also entered today's Day 1f field and thus far has had a slow start. In a recent hand, he called a small bet from the big blind after a player from early position opened and another player called.
Nanos checked on the before the player that opened preflop fired a continuation bet of 7,500. The third player got out of the way and Nanos called.
Nanos then led out for a bet of 18,000 after the appeared on the turn. His opponent put pressure on him with a raise and after a short-time Nanos opted to fold to bring his chip stack down to around 53,000.

The partypoker LIVE MILLION Germany €1,100 Main Event not only provides what players are referring to as a great structure but also has a good chance to add value to players thanks to the huge €1 million guaranteed prize pool.
There are currently 346 players in today's Day 1f field bringing the total up to 637 players. This means at least 363 more players need to enter within the next few blind levels today or during the action-packed Day 1g turbo field tomorrow.
We earlier reported that Rehman Kassam was confident enough that the guarantee would be met. He put his money where his mouth is with a prop bet that at least 1,000 entrants would enter the tournament.
PokerNews just caught up with Kassam who admitted that he is "a little worried" now about his bet after being updated with the current figures. If Kassam's worries are correct then there is great value for anyone thinking of coming out to King's Casino to play in tomorrow's last opening day of the Main Event.
Kassam seems less worried about his stack which was close to 160,000 before and is now down to 132,100. He shared with his second bullet he hasn't had any big hands one way or the other and was more concerned about making sure the Champions League Final would be on one of the big screens in the tournament area. Kassam brought his laptop with him just in case this doesn't happen.

They both made deep runs in the recently concluded High Roller with Kracht busting two spots before the money and Tomovic making it to three-handed play before throwing in the towel.
The stream can be found on the Twitch channel PokerRoomKings or just by clicking the Live Stream tab right here in the PokerNews Blog. Play will be broadcasted with a 30-minute delay.

There are two kinds of setups. The one where you run eights into tens in a blind battle at the Friday night home game, and the one where four players get it all in in a partypoker LIVE Million Germany Main Event with aces, kings, queens and ace-queen suited.
Former EPT Grand Final champion Jan Bendik opened the action to 3,500 and got a call from seat 3 before seat 4 squeezed to 8,700. That prompted an all-in for 37,500 from seat 6, an all-in for 62,000 from a seat 7 and both Bendik and the first reraiser committed their stacks.
Bendik:

Seat 5:

The was safe for the red aces, but the turn put a flush draw on board for Bendik, and the Slovak got there when the dealer burned and turned the on the river.
Bendik dragged the massive pot, eliminated all three players in the process, and is now sitting on one of the biggest stacks in the room.

The feature table changed during the break. Jonathan "Jonty" Willis did quite well on the stream chipping up to 157,100 and described his experience as "fun."
Since the stream, Willis' chip stack took a hit and he now has an opening stack of around 100,000. He shared that he bluffed quite a bit off with the second nut low, a move that didn't work out for him.
Less successful on the stream was Germany's The Talk, who is down to about half his starting stack.

The VIP party will take place at King's Casino tonight at 10 p.m. The crew was busy at work preparing for the party earlier in the day.
Players in the Main Event can pop by at least for the beginning of the party as it will coincide with the tournament's dinner break.
