Kassam, who banked a massive payday of £89,320 in January after shipping the PokerStars Festival London Main Event, took a quick walk around the tournament room looking for players willing to prop bet him that it would meet the guarantee. He found one person to take his bet that it would meet the guarantee. He got the media to witness it being booked and quickly ran back to his seat to not miss too much action.

Kassam and his betting partner have a legit sweat. As the first blind level is winding down, the field has ballooned to 209 players according to the big board. After yesterday's action was in the books, the magic number was 709 more players needed for the tournament to meet its huge guarantee with two more fields to go.
