Tomovic Takes it With Big River Bet

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Aleksandar Tomovic opened to 180,000 from first position, and Kacper Pyzara defended his big blind. The players checked through the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{K-Clubs} flop before Tomovic fired 150,000 on the {2-Hearts} turn. Pyzara made the call.

The {8-Diamonds} river saw Pyzara check a third time and Tomovic slid out two big towers totaling 600,000. That was more than Pyzara was willing to commit and Tomovic dragged the pot.

Hoa Bui Chi Eliminated in Fifth Place (€15,000)

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Hoa Bui Chi
Hoa Bui Chi

Hoa Bui Chi had sported the shortest stack at the final table for quite some time before finally finding a hand he was content to move all-in with. Andre Haneberg opened to 175,000 from the button, and Chi put his last 515,000 in the middle from the small blind. Haneberg made the call.

Hoa Bui Chi: {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Andre Haneberg: {A-Spades}{2-Spades}

The {6-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} flop gave no definite advantage to either player, and it was still very much up in the air after the {2-Hearts} turn. The {3-Hearts} river gave Haneberg the checkmark though, and Hoa Bui Chi hit the rail in fifth place good for €15,000.

Pyzara Finds Kings to Double Through Filatov

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Kacper Pyzara
Kacper Pyzara

Kacper Pyzara raised to 160,000 from middle position, and Anatoly Filatov announced all-in on the button. With action back on Pyzara, he quickly moved a stack of chips over the betting line while turning his {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} over simultaneously.

Filatov opened {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} and needed some help, but the {K-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop was far from it. The {10-Clubs} on the turn did give the partypoker Ambassador outs to a straight, but the {6-Clubs} on the river wasn't it, and Filatov handed over most of his stack to his Polish opponent.

Chi Scores the Double

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hoa Bui Chi moved all-in for 525,000 from first position, and Aleksandar Tomovic made the call on the button while both of the blinds folded. Chi tabled {K-Clubs}{10-Spades} and needed to improve against the {A-Spades}{6-Spades} of Tomovic, and he did just that on the {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{K-Spades} board. Two pair was more than enough to score the double, and Chi surged to 1.2 million.

Chi Getting Dangerously Low

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hoa Bui Chi did score an early double but with blinds recently gone up to 40,000-80,000 and a running ante of 10,000, he is getting dangerously low once more. Chi has less than seven big blinds and is by far the shortest stack at the table at this point in time.

Boris Kotleba Eliminated in Sixth Place (€12,000)

Level 23 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante
Boris Kotleba
Boris Kotleba

The action folded to Boris Kotleba on the button, and he moved all-in for 400,000 total. Hoa Bui Chi folded in the small blind and Kacper Pyzara in the big blind contemplated for a few moments before making the call.

Kotleba: {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Pyzara: {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

Kotleba was ahead, and the {K-Clubs} in the door was seemingly good news for the Slovak. The rest of the board was not, however, as it ran out {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and Kotleba hit the rail in sixth place, The rest of the field has now locked an additional €3,000.
