The Daily Legends tournaments at partypoker have proven to be hugely popular thanks to their player-friendly formats. partypoker has slashed the late registration period, limited re-entries, and devised a structure that allows players to head to bed at a reasonable time without turning the tournament into a crap shoot.

Now is the time to try out some of those Daily Legends tournaments because partypoker has launched its Legend of the Week promotion that adds $60,000 worth of value to its Daily Legends schedule every week.

Legend of the Week sees you earn points for playing in selected Daily Legends tournaments from Monday through Saturday. Points are awarded for playing the eligible tournaments, but you earn far more by reaching a final table or by going all the way and becoming a Daily Legends champion.

Formula 1 Driver Daniel Ricciardo Knows When to Pit

McLaren Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo knows what it's like to operate at peak performance. Both he and his car need to operate at the outer limits of their ability on race day to stand a chance of winning, or even making it to the end of the race. But he also understands that being at your peak means being in control.

At the poker tables, players don't need to worry about spinning off the track into the wall from a momentary lapse of concentration, or a tire blowout at 200 kph because they didn't pull into the pits. But every poker player has experienced some proverbial version of those when they lose control and don't know when to take a break to fix the machinery.

"Only when we're in control are we in charge of our own race," Ricciardo in a recent video. "It's sometimes important to hold back, take a break and take stock. It's important to know when it's time to pit."

Gambling and Auto-racing have a lot in common as McLaren Driver Ricciardo explains

Bubble Time in The Sunday 500

The field is down to 24 players on four tables in The Sunday 500, meaning it is hand-for-hand to the money. The next player to bust goes home with nothing but any bounties collected along the way, but after that, everyone will be guaranteed at least $534.

Just over 100 players are left in The Gladiator, while The Weekender is down to 18 left.

Meanwhile, there are just 125 players left in The Gladiator, with busted players collecting $66 on their way out the doors. The Weekender Final Day is down to 21 players left paying out $265, and both The One Shot and The 300 are nearing the money stage with 219 and 76 players left respectively.
