Registration Closed for Day 1b of the Irish Open Main Event
The late registration and reentry period of Day 1b of the Irish Open Main Event has just closed with 804 entries to add €802,000 to the €822,000 which had already been collected on Day 1a.
This means that the original €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool has been crushed as €1,626,000 has been brought in already with a turbo flight still to take place on Monday at 2:05 p.m. GMT.
More than half of the field is still left in the tournament with the day slated to end when there are 121 players left.
Andrei Kozlenko is in pole position right now, followed by Marc Macdonnell, Daniel Smiljkovic, Mark Doyle, and Carlos Chadha-Villamarin in the top five.
