Wheatforsheep Eliminated in 7th Place ($491,288)

Level 30 : 15,000,000/30,000,000, 3,750,000 ante

"Wheatforsheep" jammed for 373 million with {Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} from the small blind and Pim "ForMatherRussia" De Goede called from the big blind with {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

The {9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Hearts} board ran all blanks for "wheatforsheep" and he or she was eliminated in seventh place for $491,288.

After the hand, De Goede had more than half the chips in play.

OrginALUS Eliminated in 8th Place ($327,525)

Level 30 : 15,000,000/30,000,000, 3,750,000 ante

Lithuania's "orginALUS" was the first player eliminated at the final table in eighth place for $327,525. The Lithuanian found what seemed like a good spot to call off his three big blind stack.

Pedro "Maddonaa" Marques jammed from the small blind for around 300 million with {K-Spades}{8-Hearts} and "orginALUS" called with {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

While "orginALUS" was ahead when all the chips were in the middle he needed help after Marques paired the {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop. The {4-Diamonds} on the turn and the {2-Diamonds} on the river were of no help to "orginALUS" and the tournament field was reduced to seven players.

De Goede First Over 1 Billion in Chips

Level 28 : 10,000,000/20,000,000, 2,500,000 ante

Pim "ForMatherRussia" de Goede is the first player over 1 billion in chips thanks to a big hand against Pedro "Maddonaa" Marques.

Marques opened to 44 million from under the gun and De Goede defended his big blind.

De Goede check-called a bet of 38.5 million after the {A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{J-Hearts} came on the flop before he check-called a bet of 125.5 million after the {2-Spades} came on the turn.

Both players checked after the {8-Hearts} came on the river. De Goede turned over {7-}{7-} for a set and Marques mucked his hand.

After the hand, De Goede had nearly 1 billion in chips. He surpassed the ten-figure threshold in chips a couple of hands later.
