Welcome to Day 2 of the €300,000 guaranteed partypoker Grand Prix Killarney €340 Main Event at Ireland’s National Event Centre (INEC) and Gleneagle Hotel.
Cards are in the air at 2:30 p.m. for the penultimate day of the Main Event with the plan to play 12 40-minute levels including a dinner break unless they get down to the final two tables in which case the day will end early.
The final chance Day 1d turbo was a late entry to the madcap schedule and kicked off at 10 a.m. today. Those lucky enough to bag chips there will join the throng of other Day 1 flight players after which the final prizepool and pay-out structure will be announced.
The Main Event, numerous side events and cash games has meant poker players have had as much action as they want, but not far behind the poker is the craic.
