Level 34 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Conor Beresford
Conor Beresford

Jeremy Ausmus opened to 350,000 and Conor Beresford three-bet all in. Ausmus called.

Jeremy Ausmus: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Conor Beresford: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

There was no help for Beresford on the first hand back from the break on a {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} board and he was eliminated.

"I thought you were the second best player after me," said Freddy Deeb.

"Thanks man," said Beresford. "I appreciate that."

Small Bet Gets Marchese Paid Before the Break

Level 33 : 70,000/140,000, 140,000 ante

Freddy Deeb opened to 300,000 from under the gun and Tom Marchese defended from the big blind. The flop came {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {j-Spades} on the turn.

Marchese led out for 285,000 and Deeb called to see the {6-Hearts} on the river. Marchese made a small bet of 160,000 and Deeb found the price cheap enough to call. Marchese turned over {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} which was good enough to beat Deeb's {a-Spades}{5-Spades}.

"Next time I'll make it a million and you won't call with ten-seven," Deeb spat. "The minimum I'm raising from now on is 500,000."

"Well the blinds are going up next hand," Marchese responded with a laugh.

The players are now heading on another 15-minute break.

Marquez Still Climbing

Level 33 : 70,000/140,000, 140,000 ante

Ana Marquez raised to 300,000 from under the gun and was called by Conor Beresford on the button. Freddy Deeb also came along from the big blind and the flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Deeb and Marquez both checked to Beresford who tossed in a bet of 350,000. Deeb called and Marquez check-raised to 1,100,000. Beresford used a time extension before sliding his cards to the muck and Deeb's cards quickly followed behind.

Beresford Can't Tell a Good Story

Level 33 : 70,000/140,000, 140,000 ante

Sergio Aido opened to 300,000 from under the gun and was called by Ana Marquez in the cutoff and Conor Beresford in the big blind. The flop came {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and the action checked to Marquez who bet 450,000. Beresford called and Aido got out of the way.
