Day 3 of the partypoker LIVE UK Poker Championships £1,100 Main Event is here with 78 players returning to the Dusk Till Dawn Cardroom and Casino to battle for a place in tomorrow's final day and a chance to win the £187,500 first-place prize.

When the players take their seats at noon, Daniel Morgan (5,015,000) will begin the day's play as the chip-leader with Alex Harrison (4,600,00), and Mark Mcgovern (3,585,000) completing the top three counts.

A pick of the UK players in action today includes Jamie O'Connor (3,300,000), 2017 WSOP bracelet-winner Chris Brammer (2,250,000), recent partypoker MILLIONS Germany Super High Roller winner Michael Chi Zhang (2,425,000) and this week's UKPC Super High Roller champion Steven Morris (2,900,000). Also in the field are the German trio of Manig Loeser (3,090,000), Fabio Sperling (2,595,000) and Patrice Brandt (2,000,000).

The partypoker LIVE UK Poker Championships £1,100 Main Event attracted 1,076 entries across four starting flights, and at the start of yesterday's Day 2 288 had returned.

Alex Luz, Ludovic Geilich, Adam 'IT5PAYDAY' Neal and Andrew Laurie started yesterday's play as the four Day 1 flight chip-leaders, but all exited the action before the end of Day 2. Laurie cashed in 96th place for £3,000 with Luz and Neal taking home £3,500, while Geilich failed to make the money spots.

Yesterday's hand-for-hand play on the money bubble latest nearly 45-minutes with Dahe Liu the unfortunate player to fall short and was awarded with a £220 UKPC Finale ticket as a consolation prize.

Like Day 2, eight 60-minute levels will be played out today, resulting in the remaining players bagging their chips and returning for tomorrow's final day and the crowning of a winner. A minimum of £3,500 is guaranteed for the returning players today with next payout jump coming in at 72nd place for £4,000.

Follow all the coverage here on PokerNews as the field gets whittled down over the next eight hours of play.
