Hands #65-69: Morgan Claws Back With Trips

Hand #65: Daniel Morgan moved all in for 9million on the button with {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, and he won the pot.

Hand #66: Thomas Hemming raised to 800,000 on the button with {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and saw Ning Lu three-bet to 2.7million in the small blind with {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}. Lu's raise was enough to get Hemming to fold his hand.

Hand #67: Chris Brice called in the small blind with {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} before folding to Daniel Clark's raise with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} from the big blind.

Hand #68: Lu raised to 850,000 with {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs} from the cutoff and saw all his opponents fold.

Hand #69: Steven Morris called in the small blind with {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, and Daniel Morgan checked in the big blind with {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The flop came down {10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, and Morris check-called a bet of 525,000.

On the {q-Diamonds} turn both players checked, and when the river fell the {3-Hearts}, Morris check-called a 1.7million bet from Morgan and saw the bad news that his two pair lost to trip queens.

Hand #60: Steven Morris raised to 750,000 in the hijack with {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Daniel Morgan called with {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} in the cutoff. The flop came {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Morris check-folded to a bet of 300,000 from Morgan.

Hand #61: Thomas Hemming raised to 700,000 with {a-Hearts}{9-Spades} in the cutoff and Chris Brice three-bet to 2.1m in the small blind with {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. Hemming folded and Brice took down the pot.

Hand #62: Morgan raised to 775,000 from under the gun with {a-Spades}{8-Spades}. Brice called on the button with {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Daniel Clark three-bet all in for 7.8m with {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} from the small blind. Morgan and Brice both folded.

Hand #63: Ning Lu raised to 750,000 with {7-Hearts}{6-Spades} in the hijack and Morgan defended his big blind with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. The flop came {10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Morgan check-called a bet of 625,000 from Lu.

Morgan and Lu both checked the {j-Diamonds} turn and {5-Spades} river and Morgan took down the pot with his pair of jacks.

Hand #64: Morgan raised to 775,000 in the small blind with {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Hemming defended his big blind with {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. The flop came {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Morgan bet 825,000 and Hemming called. The turn was the {7-Hearts} and both players checked. The river was the {q-Hearts} and Morgan re-checked his hole cards before betting 1.7m. Hemming called with ace-high and took down the pot.

Hand #57: Chris Brice raised to 750,000 with {9-Spades}{8-Spades} from the hijack and took down the pot.

Hand #58: Ning Lu raised to 750,000 with {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} from early position and saw Daniel Morgan call from the small blind with {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} before he checked to Lu on the {6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop.

Morgan then called a 650,000 bet from Lu, and the {5-Spades} was revealed on the turn.

Both players checked, and on the {5-Diamonds} river they checked again. Lu took down the pot with two pair.

Hand #59: Andreas Olympios moved all in from the cutoff for around 4.1million with {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and was called by Thomas Hemming in the small blind with {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}.

Board: {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} {k-Spades} {k-Diamonds}

It was to be another elimination at the final table involving pocket aces, but this time they held and Hemming took all of Olympios' chips.

Olympios, who won the partypoker presents: WPT500 (Aria Poker Classic 2016) in Las Vegas for $260,000, adds another £22,500
to his already impressive $439,014 career tournament cashes.

Hand #53: Daniel Clark raised to 700,000 from under the gun with {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and took down the pot.

Hand #54: Clark got a walk in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}, and Morgan took down the pot with a continuation bet.

Hand #45: Steven Morris raised from the hijack to 800,000 with {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and won the pot preflop.

Hand #46: Morris made it 800,000 with {a-Spades}{2-Spades} from early position and once again won the blinds and antes without any competition.

Hand #47: Hemming raised to 700,000 with {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} from the cutoff and saw all his opponents fold.

Hand #48: Chris Brice raised to 800,000 from the button with {q-Spades}{10-Spades}, and Morris defended his big blind with {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Brice continued for 700,000 on the {5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop, and Morris called.

Both players checked the {7-Clubs} turn and Brice bet 1million on the {5-Spades} river after Morris had checked. The chipleader called, and the pot was moved towards Brice who held a better two pair.

Hand #49: Daniel Clark raised to 700,000 from the button with {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and both blinds folded to his bet.

Hand #50: Hemming raised to 700,000 from under the gun with {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, and Morgan called in the big blind with {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Both players checked all the way to the showdown on the {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} board, and Hemming took the pot.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} and both players checked. The river was the {9-Diamonds}. Morgan bet 1.5m and Hemming folded.

Hand #41: Clark limped with {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} in the small blind and Steven Morris checked {q-Spades}{2-Spades} in the big blind. The flop came {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.
