The Flow Show
The board read when we arrived at the table and there was a large pot brewing between Jeff Gross and David Guay. The pot had around 600,000 in the middle already and David Guay pushed in a bet of 600,000 out of the big blind.
The action was on Jeff Gross in the cutoff who only had 579,000 remaining. He had a decision to make for his tournament life and it wasn't one he was willing to make quickly. Gross looked back at his cards multiple times and played with his chips for a couple of minutes before he started talking to himself.
"There is only one re-entry per day, right?" he asked the dealer who nodded. "I don't want to disappoint Darren (Elias), but I think I might have to," Gross said as slid his chips in the middle to make the call.
Guay turned over for a straight draw and Gross tabled . Guay was left drawing to one of four sixes, and the on the river was not one of them. Gross earned himself a double up and Guay slid below 300,000 chips.
