Schemion Loses First, Then Doubles
- On the board there was about 900,000 in the middle already. Mustapha Kanit (big blind) and Ole Schemion (under-the-gun) were heads-up. They both checked to the on the river. Kanit now bet 925,000 and after having considered all his options, Schemion called. Kanit tabled for the rivered two pair of aces and nines. Schemion mucked his hand.
- Big Tony raised to 325,000 from the hijack and was called by Schemion in the big blind. The flop came , Schemion checked. Big Tony put a whole stack of blue 100,000-value chips in which effectively put Schemion all-in. Schemion counted his own stack out and then made the call. Schemion showed for a pair of treys and was up against the of Big Tony. The rest of the board was filled up with the on the turn and the on the river. No danger for Schemion and he doubled up.
- On the other table, Tobias Ziegler, has increased his lead in the chip count leaderboard as he climbed to over 8 million in chips now.
